VikiCampus

A Place for an Active Life

At the sports grounds on Behmstraße 29, SV Rot-Weiß Viktoria Mitte 08 e.V. we are planning to build a new centre called VikiCampus. Under one roof, the campus will offer people from the neighbourhood a wide range of programmes combining sport, health, integration and education. The VikiCampus – a sports and community campus – will strengthen the local infrastructure and create new opportunities for people of all ages to stay active, connect with others and support their wellbeing. The project is expected to be funded through the Berlin state programme “Social Infrastructure Measures in Socially Disadvantaged Neighbourhoods from 2021.”

Our Approach: Sport and Movement From the very beginning of life… Supporting people throughout an active life… And helping in challenging times…
beginning in early childhood,
accompanying people through an active life…

The programmes at VikiCampus are designed for all age groups – from infants to older adults. They aim to reach people at the moments in life when sport and movement can make the biggest difference for social development and long-term health. Integration, as well as physical and mental wellbeing, are essential foundations for participation in society, professional success and living an independent life in a democratic community.

New Projects at VikiCampus The campus will bring together a range of new initiatives, including: Neighbourhood Centre “VikiWe” Inclusive Childcare Centre “VikiKi” Learning Booster programmes for children and young people Green Sports Space “FlowMe” Health and Rehabilitation Centre with “Sport for the Soul” New sports programmes and partnerships across the neighbourhood

Many of these initiatives connect movement, health, integration and education, supporting personal development and wellbeing at every stage of life. Through the VikiCampus, we want to create a place where people can be active, meet others and grow together. Our goal is to build a strong community where everyone has the opportunity to shape their lives in a positive and independent way.
