Welcome to Viktoria Mitte

SV Rot-Weiß Viktoria Mitte 08 e.V. is a growing sports club in the heart of Berlin, located at the meeting point of the districts of Mitte, Wedding and Prenzlauer Berg. Since our founding in 2008, our mission has been to expand and strengthen sports opportunities in our inner-city neighbourhoods. Today, Viktoria Mitte brings together around 3,200 members across more than 20 programmes. Sport and movement are at the heart of what we do, but community matters just as much. We work to create a welcoming environment where children, young people and families can grow, connect and enjoy sport together. Our roots lie in children’s football. Over the years, this has developed into one of the largest football programmes in Germany, with more than 70 teams of boys and girls, women and men competing in regular league competitions. Another key part of the club is our Movement Training programme for young children. Alongside this, we offer a wide range of programmes across many different sports, as well as fitness and creative activities. We are also committed to developing local sports facilities. At the sports ground on Stralsunder Straße, we have created our own movement space, the VikiHaus. At the sports ground on Behmstraße, we run another community meeting place called the VikiPlumpe. Close to the former Hertha stadium “Plumpe”, we are currently planning the VikiCampus, which will include a sports hall, facilities for rehabilitation sport and a nursery. Viktoria Mitte is a family-friendly club rooted in the local community and shaped by strong social values. People with roots in more than 100 countries come together here to enjoy sport, movement and community.
