Welcome

SV Rot-Weiß Viktoria Mitte 08 e.V. is a young sports club in the heart of Berlin. Our club is located at the intersection of the Mitte, Wedding and Prenzlauer Berg districts. Viktoria Mitte was founded in 2008 with the aim of sustainably expanding and improving the range of sports on offer in our densely populated inner-city neighbourhoods.

Today, the club has around 3,200 members in over 20 departments. In addition to sport and exercise, we attach great importance to social cohesion and neighbourly cooperation in our neighbourhoods, especially in our work with children and young people.

Our origins lie in children's football. Over the years, this has developed into one of the largest football departments in Germany, with over 70 teams of boys and girls, women and men of all ages participating in regular matches. Another key pillar is our movement school for young children. The programme is complemented by numerous diverse groups in a wide range of sports, fitness and creativity. An overview of all our offerings can be found under ‘Departments’.

A key concern for us is the expansion and further development of sports infrastructure. At the Stralsunder Straße sports field, we have created our own exercise room with the VikiHaus. We operate a second meeting place, the VikiPlumpe, at the Behmstraße sports ground. In the immediate vicinity of the former Hertha stadium ‘Plumpe’, we are currently planning the construction of the VikiCampus, which will include a sports hall, rooms for rehabilitation sports and a daycare centre.

Viktoria Mitte sees itself as a family-friendly, neighbourhood-based sports club with a strong social commitment. People with roots in over 100 countries and diverse cultural backgrounds find a common space for sport and exercise here. This work is made possible by the great voluntary commitment of many members and the support of numerous sponsors.

Whether you're big or small – come along, join in and become part of the Viktoria-Mitte community!
