Welcome to Viktoria Mitte

SV Rot-Weiß Viktoria Mitte 08 e.V. is a young sports club in the heart of Berlin. Our club is located at the intersection of the Mitte, Wedding, and Prenzlauer Berg districts. Viktoria Mitte was founded in 2008 with the aim of sustainably expanding and improving the sports offerings in our densely populated inner-city neighbourhoods.

Today, the club has around 3,200 members in over 20 departments. In addition to sport and exercise, we place great importance on social cohesion and neighbourly togetherness in our local areas, particularly in our work with children and young people.

Our origins are in children's football. Over the years, this has developed into one of Germany's largest football departments, with over 70 teams of boys and girls, women and men of all age groups in regular league play. Another fundamental pillar is our movement school for toddlers. The offering is complemented by numerous diverse groups in the areas of various sports, fitness, and creativity. An overview of all offerings can be found under the heading „Departments“.

A key concern for us is the expansion and further development of sports infrastructure. A dedicated movement space, the VikiHaus, has been created at the Stralsunder Straße sports ground. At the Behmstraße sports ground, we operate a second meeting place with the VikiPlumpe. In the immediate vicinity of the former Hertha stadium, „Plumpe“, we are currently planning the construction of the VikiCampus, which is intended to include a sports hall, rooms for rehabilitative sports, and a nursery, among other things.

Viktoria Mitte sees itself as a family-friendly, community-based sports club with strong social commitment. People with roots in over 100 countries and diverse cultural backgrounds find a common space for sports and exercise with us. This work is made possible by the great voluntary commitment of many members and by the support of numerous patrons.

Whether big or small – come along, join in and become part of the Viktoria-Mitte community!
