Cricket is best known from India and Commonwealth countries. In Germany, the sport currently still plays a subordinate role. We want to change that and have therefore opened a department for the sport. Cricket is primarily about the duel between the bowler, who throws the ball, and the batter, who tries to hit the ball with their bat. If they hit the ball, their team can score points through so-called runs. If they don't hit it, they might be out as a batter.
